I hope to one day meet Ueda and the others, to thank them for giving me music which has been a part of my life for the past 20 years. Hokoyama was in charge of the arrangement and orchestration of some of the more climatic and epic pieces for BioHazard 5. Wataru Hokoyama, during A Night in Fantasia 2009 in Sydney. I've had the pleasure of meeting one of the arrangers, Mr. ![]() ![]() ![]() In addition to a plethora of amazing scores, the series has also seen it's fair share of Japanese-exclusive sound dramas. Masami Ueda was the initial frontman who created many moody pieces that we all remember well, but works from others have set their own marks in the history of the series. BioHazard has had a history of extremely memorable music, from a wide array of composers. From the rolling tremolo strings of the first Tyrant battle, to the soprano opera of Alexia's Theme, to the gentler and eerier ambience of environment incidental themes. I adore the gameplay, for sure, but the music is what defines it and etches it into my memory most of the time. The Soundtracks, to me, are one of the biggest parts of the game.
